The beloved L-Istrina national fundraiser for 2023 has officially kicked off!

The annual telethon, which happens every year on Boxing Day, begins its broadcast at midday and will continue until midnight. It can be watched on a number of local channels, including TVM, Net TV, One TV, The Living Channel, and Smash.

L-Istrina is a hallmark fundraising event in support of the Malta Community Chest Fund (MCCF), traditionally broadcasted on Boxing Day each year, kicking off at noon.

The MCCF is dedicated to enhancing “the quality of life and care of individuals and society in general,” embracing a non-discriminatory approach towards social class, gender identity, age, ability, health status, or religion.
