Labour Is Leading PN By Around 22,400 Votes, New Survey Finds
With less than three months to go before the European Parliament election, a new survey has found that Labour is leading PN by around 22,400 votes.
The survey by Vincent Marmara for It-Torċa estimated a 69% turnout at the June election. Out of people who intend to vote, 51.5% said they plan to vote for PL, 43.1% for PN and 5.4% for other parties and candidates.
This means that the PL is currently leading PN by around 22,400 votes, although the gap rose to 28,000 votes when people were asked how they would vote if a general election were to be held tomorrow.
In more good news for Labour, Prime Minister Robert Abela’s trust rating stands at 44.5%, almost double that of Opposition Leader Bernard Grech, who trails at 22.5%.
