As traffic continues to be a serious issue for commuters, two LESA officers are being praised for saving the day of one Maltese driver.

“I cannot thank enough the two LESA officers that stopped by this morning to help and change my flat tyre during rush hour in a very busy main road,” the driver said in an appreciation post that’s garnered over 2,000 reactions in half a day.

“My tyre exploded and I couldn’t move my car to a safer side to change it,” the man recounted.

“While I was waiting for the towing service, officer 882 and officer 870 stopped to deviate traffic safely and changed the tyre themselves!”

The LESA officers were widely praised for going the extra mile and really helping this man out when others would have kept on going.
