It may not be real snow, but it’s the closest thing to it you’re ever likely to see in Malta. Last night’s hailstorm has left parts of Malta looking like a veritable winter wonderland, an absolute treat for photographers.

Weather conditions are likely to remain this way for the next week, with the meteorological office predicting seven days of thunder and showers and temperatures dropping to as low as 7 degrees Celsius.
