Last Saturday night at Montekristo Estates turned into yet another massive moment for Malta’s combat sports scene, as 18-year-old rising star Skyler Bezzina clinched the WKN Pro/Am European Title after dominating Belgium’s Lucas Hespel by unanimous decision at Gladiators Fight Night 32.

Bezzina, representing Team Noel Fight & Fitness under the guidance of veteran coach Master Noel Mercieca, delivered four rounds packed with sharp punches, clean kicks and relentless pressure, proving exactly why he’s considered one of Malta’s most promising young fighters.

This isn’t a one-off victory. Just last month, Skyler stormed Rome and won the XFC Tournament in his category, adding another notch to an already impressive list of achievements. But this latest title hits differently: it officially places him on BoxRec under the World Kickboxing Network (WKN), putting the Maltese teenager firmly on the international map.

With world ranking status now attached to his name, Skyler’s momentum is only growing.

Supported by a tight-knit team and professional coaching staff, he’s already eyeing his next challenge, a rematch set for next year in Catania, and he’s hungry to keep raising the bar.
