A 33-year-old Filipino man is at risk of dying after falling the height of one storey inside the common area of a private residence in Naxxar.

The fall occurred at around 7.45am earlier this morning, within a residence situated along Triq Jean de la Valette.

A medical team was called on site to transport the man to Mater Dei Hospital, where it was later certified that he is suffering from serious injuries.

Magistrate Anthony Agius Bonnici has opened an inquiry, while police investigations are ongoing.
