66-Year-Old Diver Dies After Feeling Unwell At Ċirkewwa
A 66-year-old British national has sadly lost his life after he was rushed to hospital due to him feeling unwell at sea.
Reports came in earlier this morning around 11.00am that a man who was diving around the coast of Ċirkewwa was feeling unwell shortly before being returned to the surface.
The diver was given medical care on site whilst emergency services made their way to the scene. However, upon arrival at Mater Dei Hospital, the man was unfortunately pronounced dead.
An investigation was promptly commenced following the incident.
