73-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured After Fall In Kerċem
A 73-year-old man from Kerċem is in serious condition after slipping and falling in a field earlier today, around 9.00am, on Triq l-Għadira.
The man reportedly slipped while walking and fell from a height of roughly nine feet into another field. Emergency services, including a medical team and the Civil Protection Department, rushed to the scene and he was taken by ambulance to Gozo General Hospital.
Magistrate Dr Brigitte Sultana LL.D has been informed and an inquest has been opened, while police investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
