77 Disappointed Lottery Winners Across Malta As ‘Super 5’ Jackpot Down To 1.3% Value

While it may sound absurd to be annoyed at winning any sum of money, you can’t help but feel bad for the 77 winners of tonight’s Super 5 jackpot draw.
The winning numbers, 5, 20, 10, 25, 15, were selected by enough people to drop the original €350,000 prize to just 1.3% of its value as it ends up being divided between all 77 lottery participants who guessed the numbers and correctly.
Aside from the jackpot winners, those who guessed four numbers walked away with €196, and those who correctly predicted three numbers walked away with €30.
While the numbers drawn are, of course, completely random, it is interesting to see that today, all five numbers were also the first five multiples in the five times table.
One Facebook user was quick to make light of the whole situation posting “bro, I know which numbers will come up tonight… but let’s keep it between us”.
