Abandoned Dog Found Scavenging For Food In Trash In Marsa
A dangerously skinny abandoned dog was found scavenging for food in the trash in Marsa earlier today.
Pictures sent to Lovin Malta by the man who found the dog show that it is in a desperately poor state, with its ribcage sticking out of its skin. The dog has since been taken in by the Animal Welfare Department, which confirmed that it was chipped.
“What type of inhumane soul leaves a dog in this state?” the man asked. “I would appreciate if this is made public to make awareness that the law needs to change.”
