Members of the Civil Protection and Animal Welfare were showered in praise after rescuing a little white dog that had become trapped on a cliff in St Thomas Bay in Marsaskala.
“The dog is rescued and safe,” said a woman who posted images of the rescued dog online.
“Well done to the Civil Protection and Animal Welfare. The dog is safe, unharmed, in the hands of Animal Welfare, and on the way to the animal hospital to be checked and cared for until the owner is found,” she said.
The rescuers are currently looking for the owner of the dog – but it is in safe hands until they’re found
