Adrian Delia: Steward Is Now Running Away From Its Responsibilities And The Fraudulent Agreement
Steward Health Care is now running away from its responsibilities and the fraudulent agreement it had in collusion with the government, PN MP Adrian Delia has said.
Just moments after Steward announced that it is terminating the concession agreement with the government, Delia, who personally fought for the annulment of the agreement, has accused the company of running away.
“Steward is simply running away. Running away from their responsibilities and a fraudulent agreement they had in collusion with the government,” Delia said, addressing a press conference just minutes after the announcement outside the Health Ministry.
“This is a confirmation that our country’s healthcare system was bought out. What happened this morning is only a confirmation of that,” he said.
“The government is now totally silent, it doesn’t know what to do, because while they were getting paid, and while the Maltese were getting robbed, this plan has vanished into thin air,” Delia said.
“And Steward is running away because they are only interested in safeguarding their own finances,” he claimed.
“We will be there, we won’t stop, so come to the protest tonight. This is not the fight of a party, this is the fight of the Maltese people,” he appealed.
The PN has once again assured that it will continue fighting to make sure that this money is returned to the people.
