“Another Tragedy”: Man Who Died In Delimara Boat Fire Incident Identified As Martin Saliba
Martin Saliba was identified as the man who died after sustaining injuries after the boat he was on caught fire in Delimara.
The 46-year-old man from Żurrieq was taken to Mater Dei on 6th November in critical condition after suffering severe burns and unfortunately ended up passing away whilst in hospital.
Yesterday, Saliba’s niece Kelly Wellman posted a tribute on facebook reading, “Another tragedy has befallen us this year. May you rest in eternal peace uncle Your memory will forever live on in our hearts 🕊️❤️”
This comes as a massive shock to the family as Wellman is the sister of the young man who lost his life in Tarxien after sustaining an injury to his head whilst fixing up his apartment.
