A man is currently fighting for his life after being involved in a severe quad bike accident this morning in Attard.

The 55-year-old man from Birkirkara was riding his quad bike along Triq Valletta at around 10:10 this morning when, for some reason, he lost control of his quad bike and crashed into a nearby wall.

The man was rushed to Mater Dei hospital to be treated for his injuries where he was confirmed to have grievous injuries.

Magistrate Dr C. Galea has appointed various experts to assist in the investigation. A police investigation is ongoing.
