A horrible scene in Marsa yesterday afternoon saw two sisters aged 12 and 15 getting stabbed by a man who had entered their house, the police has said.

The incident, which happened in a residence in Marsa’s Triq San Tumas at around 1.30pm, reportedly saw a man attacking the young girls “with a sharp and pointed weapon”. It is also believed that a 14-year-old boy was in the house at the time, and while he was not physically injured, he did have to be treated for shock.
