Bormla Raid Uncovers 115 Sachets Of Cocaine, Crack And Heroin Along With €20,000 In Cash

Raiding the streets of Bormla, a search by the Drug Squad, the Special Intervention Unit and the Dog Section led to the arrest of eight people and the discovery of a number of drugs.

Taking place over a number of a properties on Triq Santu Rokku, the raid even extended onto the town square. Eventually, 115 sachets of alleged cocaine, crack and heroin were found, along with several items related to either the sale or the use of drugs.

The arrested people’s ages vary widely, from 17 to 43.

Apart from the drugs, the Malta Police Force also said that some €20,000 in cash were seized after the money was found hidden in one of the raided residences.

A Magisterial Inquiry has been appointed to the case, and police investigations are still being carried out.
