Carl Bee Tops International Charts Claiming #1 Spot On Beatport With New Track ‘Nomacita’
Over the week, Malta’s very own guru-in-the-booth, DJ Carl Bee’s blood-pumping track ‘Nomacita’ made its way to the #1 spot on the Beatport charts.
Carl’s most recent track, released 10th January, was produced in collaboration with the Ukrainian electronica powerhouse, Miss Monique and the equally talented GENESI and has seen insane success in the days since its release, culminating with him topping the charts on the DJ-centric site, Beatport.
Beatport has been the hub for DJs of all genres since its launch in 2004, serving as a platform where artists can share and sell their tracks to a wide range of techno/house/EDM fanatics.
Carl and his collaborators snagged the #1 spot on the site’s Top 100 chart just days after its release, earning him a legendary achievement and possibly becoming the first Maltese artist to do so in the process.
And with an electric and bassy beat like that, there’s no doubt the ranking was well deserved.
Despite some time passing since this insane milestone, the track is still crushing it on the charts, sitting comfortably in the Top 5 at the time of writing, with no doubt that it’ll stay there for a bit longer.
