Coast Roads Floods Again As Rainy Season Hits
Brown, dirty rainwater slugged along the road by the Salini roundabout this morning, following heavy rains and stormy weather that swept the Maltese Islands.
Across Malta, flooding ensued as a result of the bad weather. As cars cautiously drove along the Coast Road, the dirty rainwater hit against their doors and bonnets.
The water on the recently constructed water subsided later on in the morning, and the route from Kennedy Grove to the Coast Road was no longer underwater.
The Coast Road was constructed a couple of years ago, and part of the project included the installation of water reservoirs. Despite this, flooding on the road continues to be an issue.
