Prominent transgender personality Terry Muscat has just announced that she will be taking legal action against controversial comedy podcast Bajd u Bejken following a joke about her during last weekend’s show… but she’s also given them one condition for her dropping the whole thing.

“I’ve been thinking about what happened in the last couple of days for a long time, and now I’ve reached this conclusion, for justice to be served,” Muscat started in a social media this morning. “This is a decision that I’m ready to carry on with, but at the same time, I’m ready to make an agreement.”

“As you know, these guys told us they had around 1,200 people present during the show, and those people laughed at me and at what was broadcast to the team’s spectators, and this was all the fault of that very same team, who made a profit from all those people who paid for a ticket.”

“I’m ready to take my accusations back, but on the condition that every single cent that the team made from the show is given to Puttinu Cares,” Terry said, clarifying that this would not count the team’s expenses, which should still be forked out by them. “This way, they get the lesson they deserve.”

“And after they accept this condition, I will also be ready to meet them face-to-face, in a civil and respectful way, to clear everything out and close this whole saga in a mature way,” Terry finished. “Now, the ball is in your court.”

Last night, as things continued to escalate, Bajd u Bejken co-host JD Patrick announced he would be stepping down from the podcast, hours after he had gone on social media to apologise to Terry and reveal that he had been speaking to popular journalist Peppi Azzopardi all day to try and set up a meeting between the team and Terry.
