Elderly Man Fighting For His Life After Falling Down Kerċem Home Stairs
A 63-year-old man is currently fighting for his life at the Gozo General Hospital after falling down the stairs of his home.
Yesterday at around 7.30pm, police were informed that a man who had been admitted to the Gozo hospital was certified as having sustained serious injuries.
From investigations, police found out that a 63-year-old man had fallen down the stairs of his residence in Triq il-Gamiem, Kerċem.
A medical team assisted the victim who was immediately taken to the Gozo General Hospital for medical assistance.
Magistrate Simone Grech is presiding over an inquiry and has appointed several court experts to assist her.
Police investigations are currently underway.
