Full-time employees are in for a treat, because three holidays fall on weekends, giving extra paid leave days.

Here’s the full list:

  • 1st January, Thursday – New Year’s Day

  • 10th February, Tuesday – Feast of St Paul’s Shipwreck

  • 19th March, Thursday – Feast of St Joseph

  • 31st March, Tuesday – Freedom Day

  • 3rd April, Friday – Good Friday

  • 1st May, Friday – Workers’ Day

  • 7th June, Sunday – Sette Giugno  Extra leave day

  • 29th June, Monday – Feast of St Peter and St Paul

  • 15th August, Saturday – Feast of the Assumption  Extra leave day
