Festa Annimali Postponed Due To Weather Concerns
Animal lovers looking forward to this weekend’s Festa Annimali at Ta’ Qali will have to wait a little longer, as the much-anticipated event has been postponed due to unfavourable weather conditions.
Originally scheduled for Saturday 7th December, the organisers made the decision with safety and well-being in mind.
The event, organised by the Parliamentary Secretariat for Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Animal Rights, was designed to be both educational and fun. It aimed to raise awareness about animal care and adoption while offering a variety of entertainment and activities for attendees.
Parliamentary Secretary Alicia Bugeja Said expressed her regret over the postponement but emphasised that the decision was taken in the best interest of everyone involved – from the participants and volunteers to the exhibitors and, most importantly, the animals.
“We are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all, especially the animals, and we want to ensure the best possible experience for everyone attending,” Bugeja Said stated.
She also reassured the public that a new date for the event will be announced in the coming days, allowing everyone to look forward to the re-scheduled celebration of animals.
Stay tuned for updates on when Festa Annimali will be back on the calendar – and let’s hope for sunnier skies next time!
