Firefighters Control Ħal Għaxaq Industrial Blaze

Firefighters from Civil Protection Malta (CPD) were called to respond to an industrial fire in Ħal Għaxaq earlier today.

Teams from Fire Stations one and four were dispatched to the scene and managed to bring the blaze under control. Authorities have confirmed that the situation has now returned to normal.

While no serious injuries were reported, three individuals were assessed and treated on site by the medical team from Mater Dei Hospital’s Emergency Department. Meanwhile, the cause of the fire has not been officially confirmed.

CPD officials praised the quick action of responders and medical personnel in ensuring the incident was contained efficiently and safely.
