Studio 18, a homegrown leader in developing young people and their creativity, has partnered with FreeHour, Malta’s largest youth community, to launch two practical programmes aimed at bridging the gap between generations in the workplace.

The collaboration introduces Leading Young People and Essentials in Leadership: A Young Manager’s Guide with initiatives designed to equip both leaders and young managers with the skills to connect with and inspire the next generation of talent.

It is predicted that nearly 30% of the workforce will be under 28 by 2025, this partnership tackles a timely challenge faced by businesses across Malta.

“At Studio 18, we’ve always believed in creating meaningful connections through personal growth and professional development,” said Jean-Marc Cafa`, Director for Innovation and Learning. “By working with FreeHour, we’re tapping into their deep understanding of Malta’s youth, ensuring our programmes are relevant, relatable, and impactful.”

The programmes combine Studio 18’s practical expertise in training young people to be employable with FreeHour’s unique insights into what motivates younger employees.

Whether it’s learning to lead with empathy or mastering the essentials of team dynamics, these offerings are designed to foster healthier, more productive workplaces and support both leaders and young professionals.

For FreeHour, the collaboration is about giving back to their community in a meaningful way. “We’ve spent years understanding what drives Malta’s youth, and this is an opportunity to use that knowledge to make a lasting impact in the workplace,” said Zach Ciappara, Founder and CEO.

Whether you’re a seasoned employer or a young manager finding your footing, these programmes are an opportunity to invest in yourself as well as the future of Malta’s workforce.
