Four Google strategists will travel to Malta next month to provide a free crash course to local musicians, businesses and other people looking to gain an audience on YouTube.

Enrico Bellini, Marta Verrière, Philip Alkalai and Olga Chatzidoukaki will deliver workshops catered for different levels of YouTubers- from absolute beginners to businesspeople who want to promote their work on YouTube.

The event will also feature a speech by Maltese YouTuber Fabian Borg, who made the news last year after he set up an online petition urging Google to give Maltese people the option to get paid for making YouTube videos. The petition was signed by several MPs, including by Prime Minister Joseph Muscat.

The event, which is being organised by PN MEP Francis Zammit Dimech, will take place on 16th March at the Valletta University.
