Health Minister Fires Employee And Reports Him To Police After Bribery Accusation

The employee's contract has already been terminated

The Ministry of Health has released a statement saying that a staff member's working contract has been terminated following allegations of bribery. According to the statement, the person might have been bribed or asked for money from an outside person.

The police have been called in by the ministry to investigate the allegations further. No further information was given at this time.

This comes just months after Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health Chris Fearne had worked with police in another case of suspected bribery.
