Iconic Mosta Christmas House Awarded Two National Records For Insane Decorations
Deck the halls with baubles, LED lights and national records!
The iconic corner house located in Triq is-Snajja Mosta, has been the talk of the town – if not nation – for years upon years, due to its annual lights spectacle.
With a facade decked out in Christmas lights from top to bottom, and decorated with festive goodies, this building can be spotted from a mile away, literally!
Its insane amount of lights has not only gotten the attention of residents, but also The Malta Records team, who often award locals for their record-breaking efforts, having awarded Camilleri Catering team just last week for their impressive five-metre-long gingerbread man.
Having displayed a whopping 57,900 LED lightbulbs, greatly surpassing last year’s amount of 54,500 lights, the record team awarded the house owners for this new national record.
However the achievements and decorations don’t end there, as the interior of the building is also decked out in record-breaking decorations. With an insane 2,325 baubles suspended from the ceiling of the house, this impressive decorating feat also landed the owner, Gaetano Buttigieg, another distinguished award.
Congratulations to Gejtu for this amazing accomplishment!
