Iklin Resident In Serious Condition After Falling At Paola Factory
A man from Iklin is currently fighting for his life at Mater Dei hospital after sustaining serious injuries following a fall from a ladder while carrying out some work.
Today, at around 9.15am, police were informed by health authorities that earlier in the day, a man had been rushed to Mater Dei hospital after being injured at a Paola factory.
From investigations, it was revealed that the man, a 56-year-old Iklin resident, injured himself after falling off a ladder while working at the factory located in Vjal Sir Paul Boffa.
An ambulance transported the victim to the hospital for medical care, where his injuries were certified as serious.
Police investigations, as well as inspections by the Occupational Health and Safety Authority, are currently ongoing.
