‘Il-Kunsill Lokali’ Is Hosting A Live Fundraiser To Return For A Full Season Of Laughs
The wait is finally over, we could finally be getting a full season of the realest local council there is, Kunsill Lokali, but Mayor Peter Bugeja needs your help first.
“Is-Sindku Temporanju (Peter) has an election campaign coming up, cost of living is rising, and you can’t pay an MCAST film crew with indecent exposure forever,” the event description comically reads.
In order to combat all of these funding hurdles, the crew behind the satirical short-film have announced an event that will help fund an entire season of goofs.
From 7pm onwards on 12th December, Tigullio in St Julian’s will be home to “a night of film screenings, comedy, Coleiro & Andrew arguing about your ideas and, the most important part of any Local Council event, Tombola.”
Tickets start at €10 a pop with higher prices for more benefits, on top of a variety of exclusive merch and the honourable chance of meeting the cast and crew.
So if you want to see more from “the realest Local Council there is and ever will be” make sure to head down to Tigullio for a night of fun to help fund more laughs.
Tickets and more info are available on showshappening.com and a crowdfunding site has also been set up on zaar.com for online donations.
