Internet Sensation Loses MUT Election By Painfully Close Margin
Franklin Barbara, the man who dominated your Facebook feed throughout his election campaign (which almost overshadowed Malta’s actual general election) has been beaten by competitor Marco Bonnici who had a six-vote advantage.
According to the results posted by tvm.com.mt, Barbara received 1,194 while Bonnici got 1,200. The results for the rest of the council, including vice-president, will be released soon.
