It’s Official! Tyson Fury Visits Mellieħa Restaurant While Training In Malta
It’s official! Fury’s finally made his presence known on our island by visiting a local restaurant.
Following the rumours and sightings earlier this week, various sources have confirmed that British Heavyweight boxing Champion Tyson Fury has in fact set up base on the island for the next five weeks and will be training in Malta.
However, as many would assume, the fighter’s been incognito for some time, until now.
As shared in a post by Mellieħa restaurant, One80 Kitchen & Lounge, staff members were excited to welcome the champion into their establishment, yesterday evening.
“It was an honour to host such a legendary figure in our restaurant,” the post said, “Thanks to Tyson for stopping by and bringing that unmatched energy—our team loved every moment!”
His training in Malta has been attributed to the highly anticipated re-match against Ukrainian boxer, Oleksander Usyk, who he lost against earlier this year, resulting in the first ever loss of his professional career.
Here’s to hoping that Malta will prove to be a fertile hunting ground for the boxer and help him on his journey to reclaiming the coveted world title.
