‘Justice For Jimi’ – Former X-factor Malta Judge Rallies Country To Help Her Reclaim Her Cat
Malta rally together! Former X Factor Malta judge and singer Alexandra Alden has plead for help following the unethical selling of her cat, Jimi.
The local celebrity took to Facebook to announce that following a breakup earlier this year, her cat was sold to a stranger by her former partner.
“My ex refused to give me my cat back during our split and instead gave him away on Markplaats a few months later to some random person!” She exclaimed on the post.
Alden, who currently resides in Rotterdam, Netherlands, continued to explain that Jimi was given away on the Dutch shopping website Marketplaats and in a recent update also added that he’s been registered at a new address in the northern regions of the locality.

“This is a long shot but it’s all I can do for this little one whom I love so much,” Alden concluded, “He always had a safe and loving home in my arms. I’m trying to find his new owner so that he may one day be returned to me where he belongs.”
Multiple news portals have since shared the call to action, sparking a nationwide rally to aid in the return of Jimi.
Commenters got creative with ways to increase engagement on the post by submitting keywords and phrases to help the algorithm boost the post.
The tactic’s been successful so far, with the support even reaching beyond the nation, as Danish locals have also gotten wind of the news.
