Malta Enterprise CEO Kurt Farrugia is set to step down and set to take over as Head of Transport Malta.

According to the Times of Malta, Farrugia will resign from his current role, which he has held since 2019, to replace Mark Mallia, who was recently appointed as the OPM’s head of secretariat.

Before leading Malta Enterprise, Farrugia was a key aide to former Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and served as the chief government spokesperson starting from 2013.
