Maltese Company Organises Blind-Folded Charity Run To Raise €90,000 For Visually-Impaired Children
REMAX & Friends Foundation have been doing some good lately with local charities. They have recently set up a goal to raise over €90,000 to help visually-impaired children.
These guys’ latest charity run had a bit of a twist to it however — they had to be blindfolded. This run in aid of visually impaired children was held in the Spinola area where the Remax team put on their black sleeping masks and walked through the streets, presumably bumping into everything and everyone on their way to the finishing line.
The charity drive dubbed #helpthemread has been going on since August, and is done in assistance to The President’s Trust. The team has been organising events on a regular basis to reach their aim.
All 27 Remax offices in Malta are helping out with this goal, from organising lemonade and hot dog stands, marathons, charity dances, drives, bowling, dog walks and even parties.
