Maltese Under-10 Team Shines With Third Place Finish At Juventus Academy World Cup

Congratulations are in order for the Maltese Under-10 team, who secured an impressive third place in the Gold Category at the prestigious Juventus Academy World Cup.

“Competing against teams from 26 countries and 900 players from 5 continents, this is an incredible achievement for our young Bianconeri,” Juventus Academy Malta wrote in a social media post, attaching a photo of the smiling kids proudly holding their well-deserved trophy.

“Their talent, dedication, and fighting spirit shone on the world stage. A massive congratulations to the players and a huge shoutout to the coaching staff who have nurtured their potential and guided them to this success. We are all immensely proud,” the team wrote.

The fifth edition of the Juventus Academy World Cup brought together 36 academies from five continents and 26 different nations, showcasing seventy-eight teams and involving over 900 players and 200 coaches.

This grand event was held in various picturesque locations including Susa, Oulx, Sauze d’Oulx, Bardonecchia, and the iconic Allianz Stadium.

This year’s edition stretched over four days, from 10th June until the 13th, concluding with the closing ceremony at the Allianz Stadium, in the presence of Juventus legend David Trezeguet, who made this very special moment even more exciting for the hundreds of youngsters involved.
