A Macedonian man fell from a height of around two and a half storeys while he was doing some work in a Żurrieq residence this morning.

The 52-year-old resident of St Paul’s Bay sustained grievous injuries from the fall which occurred at 10.45am in Triq L-Imdawra. 

A medical team provided the worker with assistance on site before he was transported to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

Investigations by the police as well as the Occupational Health And Safety Authority are currently ongoing.
