Naxxar Middle School To Have Hats And Shades Day In Aid Of The Len And Jacob Wellness Fund
Naxxar Middle School Maria Regina College is hosting a hats and shades day for students at the school to fundraise for the Len and Jacob Wellness Fund.
On Thursday 30th January, students are asked to bring a €2 donation to wear their fancy hats and cool shades throughout the school day.
Students are encouraged to make DIY hats, “Get creative and show off your designs!” the school posted in a statement to Facebook.
And all of this is in support of the Len and Jacob Wellness Fund, which is an initiative aimed at supporting two 12 year old boys, Len and Jacob who both live with Zellweger spectrum disorder, a rare genetic condition that is incurable.
On the day of the event, information talks will be held alongside a yoga session to make the day special.
