Nine AFM Personnel Near Completion Of UN Deployment In Lebanon

The Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) have announced that nine of their personnel are approaching the end of a six-month deployment with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

The AFM shared that the team has been serving as part of the multinational Irish-Polish Battalion (IRISHPOLBATT), contributing to peacekeeping efforts in the region.

This mission highlights Malta’s ongoing commitment to international peace and security, with AFM personnel gaining valuable experience working alongside forces from across the globe.

A proud moment for Malta as these service workers prepare to return home after months of dedication abroad.
