Norwegian Man At Risk Of Dying After Being Run Over Twice By Two Different Cars In Ħamrun
A Norwegian man is at risk of dying after being hit by two separate cars in an early morning incident in Ħamrun this morning.
The man, who is 29-years-old, was first forced to the ground after being struck by a 40-year-old man from Żurrieq who was driving a Peugeot 607.
While the man lay on the ground injured, he was hit by another car, a Toyota Vitz, which was being driven by a 31-year-old man from Valletta.
The incident happened at about 1.10am this morning in Triq Nazzjonali, Ħamrun.
A medical team was called in to assist the injured man, who was rushed to Mater Dei for treatment where he was confirmed to have been seriously injured.
An inquiry has been opened to investigate what happened in this incident. Police investigations are ongoing.
The incident happened mere hours before four cars collided with each other in a separate incident in Pembroke, injuring 10.
