OASI Foundation Ends Annual Adventure Event With A Splash To Raise Awareness On Addiction
The OASI Foundation have made a splash once again with their annual Jump For Life event that inspires courage and action in the fight against addiction.
The long awaited event kicked off yesterday morning with a long trek from Xlendi to Sanap Cliffs in Munxar, from where they set off on a marvellous kayak trip along the Gozo coastline.
After which, 26 brave participants dived into the chilly waters at noon, in a bold and symbolic leap representing the first step towards recovery. This powerful moment brought the event to a close, marking yet another year of awareness and courage.
“Each jump symbolised a personal commitment to breaking free from addiction and embracing a healthier future,” the organisation said in a public statement.
OASI continue to empower those battling with addiction, with events like Jump For Life serving as a reminder that seeking help is not a sign of* weakness, but rather; an act of bravery.
“This event not only brought people together in solidarity but also raised awareness about the importance of community support in overcoming addiction,” the foundation concluded.
Congratulations to OASI for hosting yet another empowering event!
