Towards the end of a week of fluctuations that’s seen everything from zero to six new daily cases (which saw active cases go from 36 to 44 and then slowly back down again), Malta has registered one new COVID-19 positive case over the last 24 hours, along with three recoveries.

The one new case was a sporadic, symptomatic case presented at casualty.

This puts the country’s current active cases at 39.

A total of 786 swab tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, down from yesterday’s 852.
