Palestinian Embassy In Malta Issues Call For Help To Bring Injured Six-Year-Old Boy For Treatment

The Palestinian Embassy in Malta has issued a call for support to bring six-year-old Mohammad and his aunt to Malta for medical treatment.
“Mohammad, a resilient six-year-old boy, tragically lost both his parents in an attack on their home, leaving him severely injured and alone.”
“Help us cover Mohammad and his aunt’s journey to Malta for medical treatment. The Maltese government will cover the hospital expenses and medical treatment,” the statement read.
Videos of the adorable Palestinian boy playing football while on crutches were posted to social media by the account @mo.hassan.s7.
Back in February, a three-year-old Palestinian girl named Selah arrived in Malta to receive urgent medical care after surviving Israeli airstrikes in Gaza.
Her arrival was an emotional one, with a sizeable crowd showing up at the airport to greet the little girl and her father, some people holding flowers, balloons, and flags of Palestine in anticipation.
In March, Foreign Affairs Minister Ian Borg reaffirmed Malta’s offer to treat more injured children, as was the case with Selah.
At the end of April, Lara Abu Alkas, a 10-year-old Palestinian girl who was blinded in one eye after being struck by the fragments of a missile in an airstrike on a hospital in Gaza, also landed in Malta to receive treatment.
