Hanania commended Borg’s “tremendous efforts” to bring the “lovely Selah” to Malta so that she may receive proper treatment.

He went on to say that Borg has reaffirmed Malta’s offer to treat more injured children.

“We will be working with the government to hopefully ease the suffering of more children by bringing them to receive medical treatment in Malta,” Hanania wrote.

Selah lost her mother and brother in the relentless Israeli airstrikes in Gaza, and eventually managed to reunite with her father through the power of social media, and was brought to Malta for urgent medical care.

According to Hanania, Selah “is recovering slowly from her leg injuries, and is scheduled to receive therapy starting next week”.
