Penis Potholes Make A Comeback – This Time In Swieqi
After making headlines last month, the penis potholes graffiti has now appeared in Swieqi.
Residents frustrated with unrepaired potholes have once again turned to this unconventional protest, using spray paint to highlight problem areas and writing “fix me” over damaged roads.

Swieqi Deputy Mayor Jordan Galea Pace has weighed in on the matter, calling out the authorities for their inaction:
“It’s ridiculous that a piece of genital graffiti gets taken more seriously by authorities than elected councillors. As a new member of the Swieqi council, I find it frustrating that residents feel this is the only way to be heard.”
Galea Pace added that the authorities have yet to start any new roadworks in Swieqi. While he commended residents for taking action, he encouraged them to reach out to him directly so they “can get things done properly.”
Once again, the graffiti has caught the attention of both the public and authorities, raising questions about why such drastic measures seem necessary to get roads fixed.
