PN Siġġiewi Councillor To Be Charged Over Alleged €2.3 Million Fraud Case

Siġġiewi councillor and former PN candidate Francine Farrugia is set to appear in court in connection with an alleged €2.3 million fraud case.
Farrugia, 31, worked as a finance manager and also lectured at MCAST. She previously ran with the Nationalist Party during the last general election and has also served as the PN’s spokesperson on education.
She will be appearing in court in the coming days before Magistrate Nadine Sant Lia.
The alleged fraud is linked to her role at MCAST, where millions in public funds were allegedly misappropriated.
Farrugia is expected to face multiple charges, including fraud, misappropriation of funds, money laundering, and the misuse of electronic systems.
