Six young people have been involved in a car crash in Ta’ Qali on Friday night, after the driver, an 18-year-old from Siggiewi, hit a pole.

Inside the vehicle, a Toyota Tercel, police found two other 18-year-old men from Żebbuġ and Qormi, an 18-year-old woman from Għaxaq and another 16-year-old from Siġġiewi.

Officers from the Civil Protection Department were called to the scene of the accident, which was around 23.45pm.

The passengers were taken to Mater Dei for treatment for slight injuries.
