Sliema Luggage Victim Was A Drug Mule With Disabilities Who Died After Packets ‘Burst’ Inside His Body
The victim behind a grisly discovery of a dismembered corpse found inside a luggage off the coast of the Gżira-Sliema promenade was a man with disabilities who was being used to traffic drugs, it has now emerged.
According to an exclusive report by NET News citing sources within the investigation, it is now believed that the man died after the large amount of drugs found inside his stomach “burst”.
With that in mind, the machete in question which is thought to have been bought from a Naxxar ironmongery is believed to have been used to cut up the man’s corpse, and not to kill him. It is also still being reported that the luggage could’ve been bought from the same store.
It is also not being excluded that the man (in his 40s or 50s) was about to catch a flight out of Malta before his death, and that, as a person with disabilities, he was chosen on purpose so that he would raise less suspicion.
