Aprille Zammit’s solo exhibition, ‘Soak in Sunlight’, opens at Marie Gallery 5, inviting visitors to explore how we interact with the natural world.

Running from 24th October to 7th November, this exhibition is a reminder of the beauty that surrounds us, often overlooked in our busy lives.

Zammit’s work encourages us to pause and appreciate the simple elements of nature. The hues of the sky at sunrise and sunset, the calming presence of the sea, and the warmth of sunlight.

In her artistic practice, she emphasises the importance of framing these experiences, suggesting that by consciously acknowledging our surroundings we can cultivate mindfulness and a deeper appreciation of what mother nature offers us.

Rather than focusing solely on tangible achievements, Zammit makes it a point of the need to celebrate the serenity of the natural environment.

In ‘Soak in Sunlight’, Zammit aims to create spaces for reflection, encouraging viewers to lean into nature’s inherent beauty.

This exhibition not only showcases her talent but also is a powerful reminder of the beauty that exists in our everyday lives.
