Sports Direct Set To Open Thursday 31st July In Qormi
Malta’s first-ever Sports Direct store is set to open its doors on Thursday 31st July, bringing one of the UK’s leading sports retailers to local shoppers. The new outlet will be located at ‘The Landmark’ on Triq l-Iljun in Qormi, taking over the former Intersport premises, near Lidl and Burger King.
This launch follows an announcement made in October 2023, when Hudson Malta plc revealed ongoing talks to introduce Sports Direct and other Frasers Group brands to the Maltese market.
Sports Direct is internationally renowned for its extensive selection of sportswear, footwear, and equipment, featuring top global brands like Nike, Puma, Under Armour, and Asics all under one roof.
The store’s official opening date was confirmed by Sports Direct Malta through its local social media channels, sparking excitement among athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and everyday shoppers alike.
