After a night of partying in St Julian’s, Junior Minister Glenn Bedingfield deployed workers from the cleansing department to clean up Spinola.
Yesterday, the streets of Spinola were flooded by hundreds of people dressed in green and celebrating the popular Irish holiday St Patrick’s Day. Street music was blaring and drinks were flowing but naturally, a mess was made.
Images shared to Beddingfield’s social media shows officials from the Cleaning and Maintenance Division working tirelessly last night to ensure that the residents of St Julian’s wake up to a cleaner town.
Among the partygoers was Prime Minister Robert Abela greeting voters with handshakes, selfies and a couple of words.
